This is a delightful place to bring a book. Each time that you look up from what you are reading the scene has changed--clouds, ducks on the water, sunlight glinting on the surface of the lake.

The community did a splendid job of making this bay into a nice picturesque hangout for couples. It's right of the highway and parking is super easy. You can come by with your wife or loved one to take amazing pictures of the park overlooking...More

This park is a wonderful place to run, picnic or just enjoy the bay. Thankfully with all the snow this season there is water in the bay.

Lake was frozen and it had really pretty views. Nice to walk around. Quick trip there. Cute Louie wood bear to take a picture in front of.

This is the top waterfront park in Big Bear. I have taken some of my best photos at this spot. Unfortunately the lake level is so low now but still the rock formations are a Kodak moment you can't miss.

Very clean and quiet; even next to the roadside. Great little picnic stop, place to catch your breath or just to soak up the views. Boulders are scattered throughout. A beautiful and well maintained park.

Water is level is getting better snow is still melting
I stayed at a place in/near Big Bear once that had "themed" rooms, e.g. I think there was a castle room, a fairy tree room, a treehouse room and so on! But I can not remember the name of the place and don't even know if it is still there... Can anyone advise me please?
