You can easily do it on your own, if you have a hire car. We paid an entry fee of BHT 200 per person. There is no need to join a tour company.

The park and the pool were impressive. But the water was brown and a bit muddy as we went there during the rain season. We learned later that the water is usually turquoise blue or a lovely shade of green during other seasons.

Like most parks in Thailand, it's not managed well. It can be crowded and there is too much trash. I wouldn't recommend going there to be honest. It's lovely, but annoying!!!

What a great experience! Really interesting to see the cave paintings that look as if they were done yesterday. A really interesting stop on a kayak tour.
