There’s only one large cave to see. Had to wait half an hour for tour to start Very boring for children. Tour is only in Italian and I couldn’t understand much of what they were saying. They need to provide translation headphones I think this was a waste of time and money

To get here take the tiny, pretty road down to the river North of Collepardo. Well worth a visit on a hot afternoon to get into the cool. Large chambers and a nice pathway around the caves. But, every piece of stalactite and stalagmite that is reachable is broken off.

What a thrill! A short distance from the beautiful medieval village of Fumone and close to Alatri this cave tour was beautiful and quite amazing. The landscape in this area of Italy is dramatic and peaceful.
