Was there when the midsummer fest was going on. Definitely would recommend going there. The wall is nice but sadly it's no longer possible to climb it except from 2 small towers. Don't expect to be able to climb the wall itself though.

The old town is surrounded by these medieval city walls. Spend a day walking around these city walls, exploring some medieval cathedrals within the old town and the sea coast by the city walls.

Pleasant walk around the city both from the internal side of these wall and also outside. There are also some great vantage points to get a view of the beach and sea leading to the port.

A walk around the wall will take you back to the medieval time. Many tower with its history. The wall is a long the beach, where in a small part inside the wall there is a beautiful botanical garden.

An early morning walk around the wall is the best therapy for a stressed out worker. You can feel the history around you.

A 3-4 kilometer long wall all around old town with arch gates. A nice walk along, patly parallel to the coastline and a reminder of those old days of Visby, Vikings, defence and markets...
