About
Inaugurated in 2001, the Lamborghini Museum, located in the Italian Motor Valley, has been updated to become MUDETEC, Museum of Technologies. It is where the company’s captivating history, iconic models and tours of the production lines tell the story of over 50 years of innovation that project Lamborghini into the future. Models range from the early visionary creations of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s genius, like the Miura and Countach, to the more recent and exclusive super sports cars, like the Sesto Elemento, the hybrid concept car Asterion, the Veneno and Centenario limited editions, the Aventador SVJ and the Huracán EVO RWD. MUDETEC offers an increasingly interactive experience, also thanks to the new driving simulator and the #lamborghinimudetec app, with which the excitement and discovery of the vehicles on display are amplified with augmented reality.

- SydneyTraveller470 contributionsImpressive tour and nice museumWe went to this museum/ tour for my teenage son who loves cars and especially Lamborghinis. I personally came to the area for some foodie tours including the Parmesan cheese tour at Gavasseto e roncadella which was amazing and the museum of balsamic vinegar which was good. I did the tour of the Lamborghini factory with my son and although I’m not really into cars it was still good, albeit expensive. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the tour guide was lovely and knowledgeable. My son absolutely loved the tour and it was the highlight of the Europe trip for him. The factory is very impressive and the tour wasn’t too long and was a small group. We weren’t allowed any phones/ cameras/ devices with us on the tour, so they gave us a complimentary locker to store our valuables in whilst we went on the tour. We then went to the museum after, which my son loved and the rest of the family found interesting, although we didn’t do a tour of the museum itself. There were 2 levels of impressive cars with an information poster behind each car explaining the history/ significance of the car. Nothing interactive. Ironically we found it hard to find parking in the area, as you can’t actually park in the Lamborghini car park, so we had to park quite far and walk. There was also no gift shop there which my son was disappointed by, as he’d thought he could get some Lamborghini merchandise/ models as a souvenir.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 October 2023
- guidebooktraveler836 contributionsItalian Automotive Perfection! My husband and I Really enjoyed visiting the museum and the assembly line tour! We did have to park across the street from the large building and cross the road. You could let someone off at the building and go park if you needed to. We visited the museum first and enjoyed the 2 levels of very cool cars. Uncrowded and we were able to photograph ourselves next to the cars. They are celebrating 60 years and the first model was on display! They have the first supercar SUV in the museum. Our small tour in English gathered and we walked over to the assembly line plant where we saw 3 models bring assembled by hand. Fascinating tour. So many options for those choosing their interiors and exterior design. Well worth the money. Had a nice tour guide with headphones. We were able to ask questions and be just feet away from the action. Tour lasted about 50 min. One reviewer said there was not a gift shop but we asked and there is a gift shop in the building next door. We purchased a small leather item with the Lamborghini name and emblem. This was a highlight for my husband and surprising highlight for me.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 27 October 2023
- Andrew G3 contributionsNice half day trip with family.Nice place to visit, myself and my 2 sons (aged 10 & 12) enjoyed the visit. Taxi costs E60 from Bologna hotel, and we got a bus back costing E3.50ea! We stayed for 80 mins. Staff helpful, and we did not do the simulator.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 5 November 2023

- martina sRijeka, Croatia22 contributionsSee you soon! The museum is a bit hard to find because there are no road signs! If you get to the "industrial" side of the museum, just do a circle and you'll get there. All in all the place is heaven. The cars...the way they are displayed... amazing. You can get out and re- enter so that's one more thing that makes it 👌Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten 5 April 2024
- Esc160976Orihuela, Spain183 contributionsAmazing visit to the Lamborghini factory and museum! After a disappointing visit to the Ferrari factory 2 days before this visit, the visit to the Lamborghini museum and factory was actually a difference of night and day. Where at Ferrari we were shown the outside of a factory building, at Lamborghini we were brought into the production hall where we were shown the final assembly of the Urus model. Bringing us very close to the cars assembly. The guide was very knowledgable and even after the factory tour was available for us to ask questions while walking through the museum. The museum is amazing. Some of Lamborghini´s most iconic models of the past (and present) are on display in pristine condition. Personally the original Countach and Veneno were my favourites. This visit and tour should be on every petrol heads agenda when visiting Italy.Visited June 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 27 June 2024
- nilsenbAsker, Norway32 contributionsCool cars and factory visit!Fun day with cool cars :) Enjoyed getting a sneak peak into the Lamborghini plant and factory. Amazing to see the new production line for Urus and how well they have automated the assembly line with robotics while maintaining the human quality controls and individual touches. Coming back ;)Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 22 July 2024
- Cocoball_83Budapest, Hungary97 contributionsSmall but nice museumIt is a small museum, 2 floors only with a few cars. For someone who is not a “specialist” it can be over-viewed under 20 minutes. But of course cars are amazing, beautiful pieces everywhere. But be careful with parking! GPS points to the gate, but it will not open for you (unless you work there), so you have to check the close streets to park.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 8 August 2024
- DinFranceStroud, United Kingdom551 contributionsClearly some nice cars there! Low key.A lot smaller and low key than the nearby Ferrari museums. Still pleasant enough and, obviously, some cracking cars there (well beautiful ones to be precise). Parked in one of some public parking across the road (free). We were an hour early for our allotted time but was not an issue. Again, some amazing cars there but just the two (small) floors. Despite being car buffs we did it in not much more than 30 minutes.Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 15 August 2024
- Judith LWarwick, United Kingdom380 contributionsNO PARKING nearby. Very small and expensive. Why is there no parking? The museum is in the middle of a huge industrial area with lots of land - surely they could make a parking area? The sign takes you into the complex where a bored guy tells you you can't park and need to find something in the area. We drove around for nearly an hour but the parking areas are all full with workers and the residential areas require a permit. We almost gave up but then found a quiet free parking area by the last roundabout you come to before the museum. There were several other nationalities parked there. It was a 10 minute walk. The museum is very small - probably only 20 cars and costs 18 euros - cars were stunning but I wouldn't go out of the way to visit - we had driven 30 miles so we were determined to park!Visited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 September 2024

I do have an interest in cars, but the Lamborghini museum is rather mediocre. Some fantastic cars on display and 2-3 engines. Duration of a walk thru is about 30 minutes for the price of 18€. I was hoping for a bigger museum and more technology on display.
Unless you are a Lamborghini fan boy, I do recommend the Ferrari museum that is four times bigger and very much interesting.

😕 About 20 cars on display and one game simulator in two floors. A couple of models are not real (plastic and cardboard). Some models look deteriorated and could be better maintained.
🅿️ Parking lot in front of factory/museum, ~98% full by 10:30am since it’s also used by employees.
😰 Air Conditioning is not strong enough on a 40 ºC/104 ºF day with about 30 guests inside.
📶 WiFi works only on the 2nd floor. Might want to avoid the social network registration by clicking on the bottom button (Italian only).
🛞 For Game simulator you must BUY SEPARATE TICKET IN ADVANCE.
☕️ No cafeteria, bring your own water bottle and plan on visiting the Trattoria on
🚽 2 bathrooms on the 1st floor with no baby changing station.
🛍 The “Boutique” (Shop) is outside of museum. Item prices vary, as low as €17 to hundred of euros and variety is limited.

As someone who has met Feruccio Lamborghini in person many years ago I was very disappointed with this Museum's lack of history. In fact the "museum" is just a small collection of Lambo cars with little continuity or passion. No detail, just a few cars you musnt touch!
Not a patch on the Ferrari Museum and not in the same league as Mercedes, either in Germany or the UK
Parking ( having driven from the UK) was over the road in the overcrowded staff car park. I was underwhelmed and it just didnt feel special. The "shop" next door it mainly overpriced model cars and a few lambo wallets.
Dont bother; its not worth the entrance fee and its a poor legacy

Nice enough museum with a few great cars on display. However…a pain to get to it. It would be helpful to have a few more information on the website regarding means of transportation. You can get a bus from Bologna, but Google maps will tell you to take a train, then change to a bus. Do not do that. Italian public transportation services seem to be almost always late, so we missed the connection to the bus because the train was late, the next bus was an hour away, we could not find any taxi in the town where the train left us….it all ended up being a bit of a nightmare. We had a tour booked for 11, so we called the museum to ask if we can enter the museum later than that, as we are late. We’ve been told we can’t. We sat disappointed on a bench for a while, straddled, ready to return home, then checked the website again and noticed the museum is open until 5pm. So it made no sense that we could not enter the museum if we missed the 11am tour. We decided to go the the museum door anyway and try our luck. Once we got there, we found out that we can easily use our tour tickets to gain general entrance to the museum, which I still don’t understand why it wasn’t said when we called. Long story short…after much confusion, running after buses, searching for non existent taxis in the middle of nowhere and spending a small fortune on international phone calls…we got there in the end. It ticked the box, but the whole experience was somehow soured.

Expensive, short, small and Lego-less! That's all I have to say about this museum! Of course I check online before I bought my tickets and everything anyone would normally do, at first, the only thing I found strange was that my 6 and 10 year old daughters had to pay the same € 18 as any adult, but I thought: "at least there is a Lego Lambo they can play with" But, to my surprise, the Lego is no longer there, the museum is tiny and has absolutly nothing interesting to see apart from the obvious....I would visit any of the Ferrari museums again rather than waisting my money here....totally dissapointing experience!

We arrived and were told we could not go round the museum as you have to pre-book. Despite looking at the website 3x before arriving, I didn’t see this. Turns out it’s 3 layers into the website in small print.
I then kindly suggested that they could fix this, along with the signage that directs you into the factory to park, despite the visitor car park being on the other side of the road. The person at the desk told me they had passed this on to management, but had been told to shut up.
Also, the pre booked ticket only has an entry slot of 10 minutes. This is useless if you are breaking a long journey to visit as traffic round Bologna is often jammed for 30+ minutes.
Seems like Lamborghini don’t really want my custom.

3.5 rounded up to 4.
I booked the early morning factory tour for 9:30 AM. I was the only person on the tour so it was essentially a private tour of the factory, sounds good right? Well no cameras or phones allowed on the tour, but OK. The problem when I went the main factory was closed due to a new production model of Lamborghini being set up so I got to see the SUV factory. It was interesting to see the entire vehicle stations from frame to finish, I think about 20 stations total. All the custom colors, configurations like left or right drive, custom interiors, and wheels/rims. An interesting tour, just would have been better if it was one of the sports model of Lamborghini.
On to the museum. The first floor was older more historic models. The second floor was newer models. I had been to the 2 Ferrari museums the day before and liked how they were set up with the model name and info on an easy to read place card. It wasn’t until I finished touring the first floor and was about halfway through the send floor that I finally realized that the info on each model was on the stanchions, and not all of them exactly near the car. Not very obvious and the grey lettering on white background doesn’t really standout.
Overall an interesting museum, especially if you are a car fan. But if you only have time to tour the Lamborghini museum or one of the Ferrari museums I would recommend a Ferrari museum.

We stopped for about an hour at the Lamborghini Museum and I honestly it disapointed me because I was expecting more cars and history. There is barely any explanation of how the car evolved. They also told us that they produce annually the Huracan, Aventador and the Urus but however the Aventador was the only car to be seen in the museum. This museum was also not that cheap so I was really expecting more.

It was a privilege to see such a collection of cars. An hour is more than enough to walk around the museum, and it helps if you’re into Lamborghinis to truly appreciate what you’re looking at. That said, there’s plenty of information available about each car on touch screens all around the museum. The life size model of the Lego Sian with working lights was astonishing, having the regular model at home!
The simulator was well worth the money and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. If you love the thrill of driving super cars, definitely book it!

We're visiting in August when the factory tour is not available. Is the museum on its own worth the trip? Is there anything else in the village food/drink, etc? Thanks.

I have 4 days between travelling to Pisa and heading north to Turin.
My boys (the oldest in particular, 16 years old) is obsessed with engines (any engine, tractor, bike, car, anything!).
Which museums are best for teenage boys???
So many mixed reviews.
[We are travelling from Pisa by train, via Bologna to Modena where we will probably stay until moving on to Turin]
But which museums should I choose/ book?
Ducati - inc. works tour?
Ferruccio Lamborghini - this seemed more about the man than the actual carst?
Museo Ferrari
Museo Lamborghini
Enzo Ferrari
Stangullini Modena?
Musee Automboile Panini
Any insight/ help gratefully received.....

Since I only did the Lamborghini museum I would have to say to do that. It is outside of Modena though. I only did the museum part. That part of it is mostly the cars, millions of dollars of old and new cars. Ferrari is closer to town but from what I understood is smaller. No matter what u choose I’m sure you will be amazed. Have fun.
