Interesting local market
Oct 2019
Fruit, veg, clothing, dining and everything else is available at this market. Prices are cheap and the sellers are friendly and helpful. Very hot during the day but cooler and comes alive in the evening. About 7000 chat from the hotel zone.

Being situated near the residential areas of government office workers, all daily necessities are available, serving as wet market, restaurants, garment stores, hardware stores, etc. Highway bus terminal is located there too. It is active till late evening.

Giant General Store
Dec 2016 • Solo
Entering this market feels somehow quite different from the usual Asian markets. What immediately strikes you is the very ordered nature of the stalls, where everything one would normally find in a General Store, could be found here, in addition to a number of food outlets. What also makes it unique is that it is a working textile business, which is a sight of itself to behold.
If a foreigner however, expect to be the object of curiosity, although those whom you encounter, and are brave enough to offer a remark, will ensure you a warmly greeted.

A great place to get yourself essential cooking for food. Vegetables, fruits, fish oil rice and all the foodstuff you could find in Yangon is available here..The express bus station is nearby also . Thus a central market for all.

A wonderful experience

When visiting Nay Pyi Taw and like visiting markets, Myoma is a "must see". It is very busy and easy to get lost in the many packed sections. Stalls and vendors selling everything, hardware, plumbing, clothing, jewellery, electrical, books, tailors, many sewing machines, food, flowers, fish, etc. Packed Multiple stalls selling the same wares. Yet they seem to operate in complete harmony and all very friendly.
