Full of misty mountains and seasonal waterfalls/springs throughout the road. As the roads are well built and wide , one can easily stop by to enjoy the view. Chorla ghat is one of the best parts of the journey through the sanctuary.

Nice and quiet place. Drove through sighting snakes, deer and boars. Unfortunately didn't see a leopard.

Mhadei is the name of the river near which the sanctuary is located. Very rich in terms of birds and animal life.

We visited here whilst at Backwoods Camp and the place is a have for all sorts of wildlife especially birds. Not easy to get to without a car and about one and a half to two hours drive from the coast.

The only thing worth going for is the water-stream which flows through it and gives you the imagery of white-water-rafting. Apart from few Tiger sightings, until and unless this place is declared as Tiger-reserve, it will not gain traction and visitors.
