Really interesting site. This used to be the bridge over the river - but now there is a new modern span and this brifge is closed to traffic. However you can cross by foot and can see the impact damage from the shelling it took during WWII.

If you are around Lazio Region, do not miss to visit the unique Borbone Bridge that is one of the oldest in the world. It is a fantastic experience and you will need to ask to walk on it from the Roman Theatre tickets area. You will walk on the Garigliano River and you can also sound the bell that give you a good luck. …

just been strolling around And seen this beautiful historical bridge near the limit between Latium And Campania... I am half from Latium but born in Campania near Amalfi...I like visiting old monuments...fantastic...

Gates to the bridge were closed so it was not possible to go near but a bit further away. Anyways worth of visiting if you are going to see the roman theatre next to it.
