If you're looking for an authentic small English village experience, this is it! Church House is warm and comfortable, it's garden serene, Susy's food was delicious (don't worry, Paul, we haven't forgotten YOU were in charge of breakfast!) and Paul is an excellent tour guide! Paul designs explorations based on your desires/needs but is flexible enough to change on a... More

This was my second visit to Paul and Suzy's lovely home. Enjoyed everything and particularly enjoyed the fact that everyone in my group - ages 57 to 85 - found the food, touring, and scenery to their liking! This is the BEST WAY to explore and discover England...with personalized and professional service that already has me planning my next visit.

Nobody designs gardens better than the English, and nobody does a better job of explaining them to you, along with imparting healthy doses of historical, botanical and cultural facts than Paul of Discover England Tours. And nobody bakes breads and pastries or serves up better full course gourmet meals than Susy. My friend and I were delighted to get out... More

We have been to England several times but had never spent much time in the countryside. We especially were interested in visiting beautiful gardens so when we came across Paul and Susy's website and their approach to touring it seemed like a relaxing and trouble free way to see the things we wanted to see. (no driving on the "wrong... More

If you love good food, great hospitality, accommodations, and expert knowledge of the area this is the place to stay. Susy and Paul Wilson, hosts extraordinaire, are both willing to share information about flowers and gardens and the history of the area. Paul not only safely navigated the narrow hedgerow roads but also educated us to name the various flowers and trees... More

Our 'Top of the Bucket List' trip to the English countryside was made in June 2015. We stayed at beautiful Church House in Dorset with owners Paul and Susy Wilson. From the moment of arrival we were made to feel most welcome! Church House is historic and, at the same time, very comfortable and charming. Paul was our guide and... More

My sister and I had been planning a visit to England to see the countryside and gardens for several years. Neither of us cared for driving or navigating around the country. We discovered the Church House B&B website and were sold. After our 7 night stay, we were more than satisfied and pleased. Wonderful hosts, great meals, comfortable accommodations, stress... More

We wanted to visit the English countryside without the hassle of moving to a different B&B or inn every day or two. We also did not want to drive ourselves. We found the ideal solution with Paul and Susy Wilson at Church House in Dorset. We stayed in their attractive thatched roof cottage for eight nights, in a spacious room... More
