Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The tour we took started at 9am and ended at 3pm. In addition to the amount per person (80.00), the tourist tax (10.00 per person) must also be paid. The price included fruits that were served at 10 am, lunch, served after the first stop, and a crab meal after the second (and last stop). The fruits were excellent and the lunch was tasty (I don't like crab and didn't try it). The boat trip is tiring and monotonous, and many people even sleep, especially after lunch. It is possible to observe nature along the way, but nothing extraordinary. The dunes of the Piauí sheets are beautiful. Although the route seemed peaceful, I was a little insecure because the life jackets were quite precarious. Furthermore, at the second stop the river had a very strong current and there was no signage with buoys limiting the area where we could swim safely. The bridge that we got off the boat, during the stops, was unstable and elderly people, like my mother who accompanied us, had difficulty getting off the boat. The staircase to the upper floor of the vessel was also bad. I believe that on trips of this nature, safety should be considered a priority. I recommend it to anyone who has never done it, but pay attention to this safety issue.

The Guarás' fightback is perfect. Really beautiful.

However, we did it on an all-day tour. The guide took us to some "beaches" (sand banks) and made it clear that we needed to stay to allow time for the flight.

Although the landscape has its beauty, the structure for tourists who take the tours leaves a lot to be desired. There is only one bar/restaurant nearby, which closes right after lunch. When I arrived from the tour, my guide was late and the place was completely dark, with no security.

I took the Revoada dos Guarás tour with Wanderson (86 99412-5397) it was sensational.
The tour was super organized, punctual and the staff was very helpful. The tour is wonderful, it was done by speedboat with two stops for swimming and then a break to enjoy the flight of guarás. I highly recommend it.

We made the traditional ride in the Delta, without the Guarás. We went to Igaratur and everything went very well, with safety and tranquility. The landscapes along the Tatus river and the Parnaíba river are very beautiful and the bath stops in Morro Branco and Poldros Island are a unique experience.

One of the most beautiful things in Parnaíba. The river is calm, the nature is preserved and the boat riders are such nice people.

I strongly recommend "Revoada dos Guarás" boat trip.

We took a guide recommended in Lonely Planet on a fantastic trip around the delta on an old boat, taking in the area around the river, a trip across the scrub to the dunes then a walk along the dead mangrove forest/beach.

Our trip was especially to see the monkeys, which we saw 2 species of (howlers and I forget the other one). We were based in Parnaiba and it took about an hour to get to the monkeys. If you want to see the gauras vermelhas (red birds) then you need to be in a specific spot around 5.30 pm, which we couldn't do as we had to be back in Parnaiba for a bus at 9pm and apparently it takes 3 hours to get back from there. The trip might be better done from Tutoia instead.

Well worth the trip! The vegetation, sand dunes and swimming in the river made for an enjoyable day. Along the river we ate fresh oysters, crabs and fish. All fresh and very tasty. You can go by speed boat and choose your itinerary or go with the tour boats.
