We ( group of 4) hired a taxi through our casa particular to take us to the waterfalls. The price of the ride was 60CUCS in total + 10CUCS per person to enter the park. We had to negotiate the price of the taxi as the initial offer was way above 60CUCS and the taxi's excuse was that as we... More

From the park headquarters, we boarded Soviet era trucks for the ride to Codina section of the park. Once there, there is a wonderful nature walk, with especially good birding, as well as flora. The orchid garden is excellent. At the conclusion of our walk, we came upon a pig roasting over an open fire. A few minutes later, it... More

If you get to the top and not brave to swim in the natural pool of the water falls I will give thumbs down. This is a great hiking in the nature of the thousand wonders that Cuba has to offer to all of us. I had an amazing time, believe me it is worth to go !

We were transported with an old colourful truck. The initial hike was easy however the close to vertical descent on unsteady ground down to the waterfall and little pool was not that easy. Worth the effort. Don't forget you bathing suit.

I'm an avid hiker here in Canada so I was very excited about experiencing the natural side of Cuba. You can visit with a group of tourists, but we chose to take a cab and arrange for him to pick us up afterwards. The hike is very hot, I recommend going early in the day to stay a bit cooler... Not worth visiting. The ratio of price and quality is ridicolous. I saw much better places for free. If you want to spare money I don't recommand it.

Our tour group visited this nature reserve on the last day of our formal tour and I did not think that it would be as enjoyable as I had originally figured. The tour guide (Nacy) spoke perfect English and she took us all on a 1.5 hour hike around the grounds, and showed us all types of plants and other... More

Our regular travel agent organised which hikes we did. I think he chose the hardest ones. One was more of a trek than a hike and there were no paths. At one point my 17 year old daughter said 'Mum, do you feel like a bad parent' (semi-jokingly) when were sliding down the side of the mountain clinging on to... More

You don't have to be an experienced hiker to go to Topes de Collantes! We did it with a group of 4 girls, all at a different level of fitness, and all really enjoyed it. No guide needed, there is only one path. Of course, if you wish to learn more about the nature, a guid could be very helpful!... More

We booked this tour by jeep at the internet cafe in Trinidad and it was great! A chance to hike, swim in a natural pool, marvel at a waterfall, learn about the birds and plants, visit a bat cave and a small coffee farm. Lunch included too. Our guide Lenia was wonderful!
