As a now 85 year old who lived in London during WW2 this airfield meant `so much to so many` people that we were being protected by such gallant people of the RAF

The hubby loves his military stuff. I follow and try to be enthusiastic but I really enjoyed Tangmere. It has far more of the human side of the wars in it. I hate all the politics, tactics and the technical side that you usually get in...More

Thank you so much. Our aim, as you have recognised, is to present the human side of the coin rather than merely the display of aviation artefacts. We are glad you enjoyed your visit.

Very well put together collection especially the SOE section. Very interesting and informative. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The car park outside is undergoing renovation at the moment but doesnt affect enjoyment. Small cafe and toilets on site. Well worth a visit.
