Spent a great day here with my 4 year old granddaughter, lots of interesting areas and hidyholes to discover, the river the railway the visitor centre and the children's play area all made to for a great day.
Last treat for the grandchildren before they went back to school and they thoroughly enjoyed following the Trail Map (£2) and finding all the clues - with a lollipop at the end if successfully completed. This is a great way to encourage children to walk...More

The Country Park Halt is a request stop on Severn Valley Railway and is about 10 to 15 minutes walk (downhill) from the Visitor Centre at Severn Valley Country Park. Excellent pathways suitable for wheelchair access but quite steep. The SVR train will stop on request just like a bus stop. When returning be sure to tell the guard that you want to alight to Country Park Halt. Servern Valley Park is a beautiful open scenic location and there is a bird lookout post hidden next to the pool behind the visitor centre.
