Part of the Saxon Shoreway path this reserve hugs the North Kent shoreline. The reserve has good information boards and observation points. Parking at the reserve is limited but an easy walk from nearby Oare.

Go out there regularly to keep fit - lovely scenery especially sexy electricity pylons ! They do not detract from the beauty of the area - great pathways - can be very cloyey and muddy in winter but I wait for frost rather than risk...More

Lovely walks along the Estuary perfect with children and the dog. Nice views and lots of wildlife - dogs need to keep to the paths because of the Reserve. Could spend all day here in the warmer months.

I love this space to run and enjoy the fresh air. Lots of wildlife and great views of the estuary. Peaceful whilst popular and friendly

A great way to relax after a hard days work. Plenty of birds to see and hides to use. The wildlife and plants are all year round of interest

Were blessed with excellent weather which helped. Saw many types of waders, especially black tailed Godwits, and great to see so many Golden Plover. Seals on a bar out at sea, and excellent well water to finish off with!

Very pleasant afternoon stroll. Beautiful scenery with plenty of wildlife on view. I would recommend wearing good walking shoes or boots as the ground is uneven for much of the time.

Oare Marshes where many wetland birds are seen. The road there is a single lane road with limited parking which was pretty busy with Bird Watchers set up along the road with their Spotting Scopes. We found a parking space and went for a short...More
