Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Absolutely stunning campsite! Would recommend camper vans and campers alike. Not an overcrowded site and amazing views all over. The toilets/showers all very clean. Take a blanket and spend the afternoon in the beautiful gardens. The gardens alone are worth the trip here, so many hidden gems.. great for children!

Firstly the good points. Decent car park and a very nice cafe where you pay your £4.10 entrance fee. The cafe has nice cakes and a really lovely balcony with outdoor seating overlooking the gardens.
As regards the gardens, they are small and after you have done a walk round the lake that is just about it - to be honest there just isn't much to see.
I am genuinely sorry to see that it is closing as the owners have apparently spent many years here. We were here just under an hour.

We dropped in here for a late lunch in the tea rooms. We didn't visit the gardens as such but sat on the balcony of the tea room overlooking them. We had sandwiches and cake and sones with jam and cream. with drinks and a couple of packets of crisps the bill came to just over £20. Lovely little place and there is an arts and craft shop and small pottery just next door where I bought a lovely little coffee mug.
It's a little hard to find and not very well signposted from the main road, but if you do catch the sign, please visit as it's just down a little narrow lane which opens up to the Court and gardens after about half a mile. Parking is free too.

Gardens are beautiful and not too big to walk round. The swing was great even for adults. Lovely little bridges. Shame it’s closing soon so please go to this gem while you can.
Tearooms good, limited choices on lunch but good gluten free cake.

These gardens may be small in acres but are very well kept and good for children as there are wild flowers, meandering paths, and a woodland area dotted with child-sized log houses (still accessible by adults if you mind your head!). Ponds and plenty of seats to sit and relax. Geodesic solar dome, housing semi-tropical plants.
Sad to hear the gardens are to close - go while you can!

A hidden breath of fresh air just off the road. Late summer so a bit jaded, but a lovely setting . Fab wooden structures and amazing granite benches. Seats available everywhere to enjoy the atmosphere. Lovely lakes with lilies and bridges.
Courtyard a bit jade but interesting gallery and good pottery.
Garden dog friendly
Tea room not tried by us.

The weather was sadly not great when we visited (could have been worse though!) but we still enjoyed walking around the gardens, having tea and cake in the cafe (although it was more expensive than some other, similar cafes) and looking in the shops and galleries where local artists work.
Beware - if visiting do NOT type ‘Hilton Court Gardens’ into your phone for directions. I did this, and even though it came up with the full title of the exact place we wanted to visit and a picture, the phone then took us completely in the opposite direction down to Pembroke Docks. When I put the actual post code in from the website, it worked fine. Annoying to waste so much time and petrol thanks to the stupid iphone!

Beautiful day in a beautiful peaceful hidden part of the county. Kids loved it, plenty of space to run around. Clean and tidy even though dogs are allowed. We ate a lovely picnic by the lake whilst the kids played in a small house nearby. Beautiful thank you

Can anyone inform me about disabled access. For example can a mobilty scooter access the gardens thank you
jeanjean262
Haverfordwest, UK2 contributions
Hello Carolyn. From the car park it is flat and there is easy access into courtyard where there is the restaurant, gallery, gift shop and disabled toilets. There is a small slope upto the plant area and tearooms but again it is all concreted paths. You get to the gardens through the tearooms and there is a concrete path upto the glass dome but all other paths around the garden are grass or earth. A number of people have been into parts of the garden with a wheelchair and mobility scooter but others have decided not too. I think it depends on what type of scooter you have, weight and whether the ground is dry or not etc. I hope this helps and the view from the balcony tearoom is lovely if you decide not to go into the gardens.
