The waterfall was recommended by a number of locals and it did not disappoint. After driving less than thirty minutes from Saint Helens, the waterfall car park entry provided access to a 600 metre smooth, maintained walking track that winds its way down into and...More

We had to drive off the main Tasman highway at Pyengana and go along a smaller road in the countryside, past the Pyengana Dairy company cafe before reaching the falls. Adequate parking along the road as there were not many visitors. Toilet facilities available. A...More

We visited a couple of days after a wet spell and were rewarded with Tasmania’s highest waterfall running full tilt, a spectacular sight! Also, look out for the extensive varieties of fungi that grow along the track down to the Falls. Well worth the drive...More

We've never been dissapointed when we've visited this waterfall, has always been water flowing and the tree fern forrest that the well maintained track passed through is amazing. Last time we visited, there were black cockatoos feeding way up in the tree canopy - a...More

Falls are unbelievable. I wasn’t expecting them to be as high as they were. Quick hike to viewing platform, maybe 15 minutes.

Lovely down hill walk to the falls, so up hill on the way back! but is is not too steep so most could manage it. The falls are very nice but not spectacular. Parking is easy and it is not crowded.

Sort walk to falls, down hill to get to lookout, you need to walk back up to car park, easy walk not stairs, all gravel walkway. Would be great after heavy rain, although water was flowing well over falls.

Stunning falls! You can see them from the road or you can follow the path until you get to the base of the falls. the walk in will take you at least 20 minutes. Well worth the walk but make sure you are well shod.

We just loved coming here to St Columba Waterfall! The road here is quite windy but picturesque, but it's fairly easy to get to, although parking along the road might mean you need a bit of a walk. The stroll down was reasonably easy, but...More
