Thank you so much for the amazing experience we had with you. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and appreciated your advice on dietary requirements and the provision of a gluten free menu and options. Your knowledge and understanding of dietary requirements was only surpassed by the superb quality of the food and the customer service of the chef and waitress. Thank you, definitely coming back next time we are in the area.

Visited with our large party of 15 ladies that were staying at the nearby Dale Manor House.
We all had a lovely lunch on the day of our arrival which was very tasty, homemade soup and sandwiches, jacket potatoes and toasties.
In addition we had an evening meal catered in Dale Manor by Allen Valley Catering provided by the lovely Zoe. The two course meal was of a high standard. Would definitely recommend

Ate in the Forge cafe tonight what excellent service and amazing food .
After walking 20 miles of Hadrians it was much appreciated.

We popped in late this afternoon, managed to have a coffee and a substantial piece of Coffee and Walnut cake, the cake was moist and so tasty. The cafe was clean and welcoming, Can't wait to return to try the other delights.

This place has numerous studios for artisans who then sell their wares in the shop. The quality of the goods is high, there is a great variety too and prices range from £3 to £ hundreds. There is something for everyone and it is a great place to come looking for Xmas presents. We came for lunch and the cafe is great too.

We called here for a breakfast stop en-route to Hadrian's Wall. Food was freshly prepared to order and bacon was nice and crispy. The cafe was spotlessly clean.

Great to see so many local artists work in one place. A real mix of art and crafts. The team here are very friendly and helpful. The cafe is also nice. If you fancy buying a locally made craft you should stop by. There is an outside area at the cafe where dogs are welcome.
