Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent trip around les sept îles (of which there are five!). 1 3/4 hours. The boat gets up very close to the sea birds and they make sure both sides of the boat get a good view. Commentary is in French but they provide a good leaflet in English. Plenty of photo opportunities but if you want to catch them while in flight when the boat is moving and the birds are moving try the burst mode in the camera.

It was hot and sunny, the sea very calm and the boat very steady.

This is a good trip in fine weather. You go into Ploumanach if the tide is high enough and then visit each of the 5 islands (yes there are 5).

The captain is great and spotting seals etc and goes amazingly close to the rocks in some of the coves so you can have the best view.

There are more puffins then I have seen before, both in the water and flying around. The ganets are amazing and it is good to see them resting so well on the rocks.

The boat goes from the pier at the Plage du Trestraou which 30mins walk from Perros Guirec marina.

Decided to book the 2 1/2 trip to include landing on the Ilès aux Moines. Great weather helped for a really enjoyable morning, have never experienced so many Gannets before. Also viewed Fulmars, Grey Seals, Great Black Backed Gulls, Shags, Wheatears, Rock Pipits. French commentary a drag and sure it goes on for far too long, somehow they don't understand that nature can be enjoyed just by enjoying the peace of the moment. I would recommend arriving early to get a seat on the top deck.

Went on the les 7 iles trip you pick up the boat on the harbour arm on Trestraou beach firstly they take you along the coastline to get the sea view angle of the famous Granit rocks that have been carved into fantastic shapes by the ice wind and rain over the years. You then cruise out to one of the islands called iles -aux Moines’s where you can get off for 45 mins to stretch your legs or go off and explore there is an old fort which has a lofty view back along the Britainy coast. You then move on to see more islands and strange rock formations sticking up out of the sea we actually saw a group of seals amongst this rocky backdrop. This is where the Captain of the boat showed us his skill in manouvering the boat so all on board got a great view We then moved on to isle Rouzic where you see thousands of birds clinging to and flying round the island. Before traveling back to the beach to disembark total jeorney time was 2hrs 30mins .Especialy good if you are into nature and wildlife. But well worth it anyway

Booked by calling in the morning and reserved places on the trip to the Sept Isles for the afternoon. Really enjoyable trip and even saw surprise visitors - dolphins. The children aged 6 and 9 really enjoyed it.

Customer service represent was very rude and aggresive when asking for information as well as available tickets to on board the next tour. We noticed at first sight the monopoly of the tourism tour for the 7th islands. Even with 7 places available in the 9h 45 tour, we got our place refused because of not reservation in advance. Vivement bureaucracy!

A lovely 2 hour cruise with some amazing birds to see. Shame none of us speak much French as there was no translation of the information about the islands & the birds.

What a great way to see the huge colony of Gannets nesting on the islands. Also, many other seabirds to be seen along with seals if you are lucky. Take the option to walk around the island. Best bit for us.A foggy morning certainly reduced our enjoyment.

The boat trip around the Rose Granite Coast and Sept Isles was gorgeous. It was a perfect sunny morning and the sea blue but rather too choppy for a few poor souls. There was ample room on board and the crew very attentive to the less able passengers. The commentary was all in French but there was a leaflet in English. When boarding it looked very tempting to sit right at the front outside, but the people who did got very wet.

We did the 7 island tour (it's actually 5 islands) on their boat. If you speak french the guide was very good. If you don't understand french, you will likely be disappointed as there is no translation offered. It's about a 2 hour tour and you will see lots of rocks, birds, and some seals. Even on a summer day it gets pretty chilly so bring a jacket or windbreaker. Enjoy!
