About
We are snowboard specific instructors providing expert snowboard tuition and coaching in the Portes du Soleil ski resorts of Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz. We deliver lessons to first time Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced. We welcome all ages and all abilities. We provide Kids Camps throughout the school holidays to ensure a fun and safe time in the mountains!

I had 4 days of private snowboarding lessons with Stephan and I had a fantastic time! Stephen’s instructions were clear and his relaxed demeanour helped to much in calming my nerves. I am also pleased that the lessons were always tailored to whatever I was interested in learning, that’s why on my final day we did a few little jumps! I highly recommend the school and especially recommend Stephan as your instructor! Can’t wait to snowboard again.

Been on a couple of week-long trips and a couple of privates with the REAL Snowboarding instructors so far and I can say each time I’ve come away with way more than expected.
Dave & Barry have a nice laidback and effective approach to teaching and in a mixed ability group they tailor their coaching to each individual to help them progress beyond their current abilities.
Highly recommend getting lessons with these guys if you’re a beginner or even if your at a good level and wanting to learn some advanced stuff on a snowboard. 👌🏻✨

6 days learning to shred in Morzine with the REAL Snowboarding camp and 100% recommend them.
The instructors I got to know - Barry, Steph and Jack - are super skilled snowboarders, really enthusiastic and this comes through in their teaching.
I can honestly say they went above and beyond. They were super professional in making sure we had everything we needed, solving issues and spending time with us to create connections.
As for the social aspect and the camp experience. Barry, Dave and co are creating something much more than just a holiday experience but actually a community of riders that love coming together, improving, and just getting out there shredding.
I came away a much more knowledgable, confident rider. I met some lovely people and can’t wait to get back on the board. Hopefully with REAL again. And again!

Mega week!!
I booked my misses into a REAL camp for her 40th.
Dave was super accommodating and throughout the booking.
Although I wasn't on the camp myself I had private lessons booked with Nick, he was mega... Super chilled, and after 7 years off a board it took a matter of minutes for me to find my legs again with his top tips and instruction. Thanks Nick 👍🏻
My/our 2nd day then consisted of me being upgraded to the camp squad after receiving Nicks blessing. Although I joined late, I was welcomed with open arms and made to feel part of the crew.
REAL family vibe going on with all the guys & girls on the camp. Super varied mixture of nationalities, solo riders, couples, personalities. REAL catered for us all!
I was in the group headed up by Steph.
What a deep knowledge of boarding this guy has! He takes the time to inform you of the finer details of why/what/how you're doing is right or wrong!
Conditions were AMAZING on the latter end of the camp and Steph's group of relative novices ended up carving up the piste, cruising through the fresh POW and blasting through the side hits & trees!
Top few days... looking at booking for next season already!

Just finished the most amazing week on a REAL snowboarding camp.
A very varied camp that caters to all ages and abilities.
The instructors really were second to none, they could adapt to all learning styles, individual needs and goals. From beginners to those wanting to add to their ‘Tricktionary’ in the park. . . the REAL instructors will bring out the best in your riding.
The group and instructors quickly felt like a family. I was sad when the week came to an end.
I would highly recommend REAL snowboarding to all levels of riding.
Dave, Barry, Jack and Steff. . . A big thank you for all your help and advice. Hope to see you all again soon.

I had an excellent lesson with Stefan. It really helped my technique and I was able to change some bad snowboarding habits, that developed over the years. Stefan listened to me when I explained what I wanted to get out of the lesson and worked with that. I highly recommend.

SHOCKING! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Due to French Government announcement of Brits not being able to travel to France in DEC '2021, REAL SNOWBOARDING had no empathy whatsoever and would not refund the £680 we paid for lessons that we couldn't even travel for. All other companies for our holiday provided refunds or credit for a future date, including ski lessons we booked. But NOT REAL SNOWBOARDING, they just want to grab the money and do nothing for it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The only reason this company is even getting 1 x star is that I can not post with selecting a minimum of one. I am sure the instructors are good, its not them I blame it is the management. Pure GREED. We only asked for the value to be used at a later date in the same ski season for the same lessons, not even a refund. Shocking service and have informed the Chalet company who recommended them

If you want to learn or even if you think you're too good for lessons , REAL will have you covered. These guys are some of the best technical and knowledgeable instructors you will find , not just in Morzine but anywhere. You won't be disappointed with the REAL way.

Our prices vary on the type of snowboard lesson you would request however a rough guide is that we charge £130 for private one 2 one tuition and £180 for group lessons.
