We went there today and was given an amazing overview of the lighthouse by the lighthouse keeper who has been keeping watch for fifty years. Make certain you visit the cafe and adjacent shop that has goods made from the North Ronaldsay sheep's wool.

What a great place to visit. The views from the top were quite amazing across this beautiful island with the added bonus of having the quite charming former lighthouse keeper as our personal tour guide.

Visibility was excellent when we visited, you could see Fair Isle, Shetland & the rest of the Orkney Isles. Billy's tour was fascinating & the artefacts were of great interest. Highly recommended.
