My husband and I ended up at Jones Peak after a vehicle tour through the Frenchman River Valley - beautiful stunning view, but the short dirt road drive up to the peak off the main road is probably not good for small cars (we had a truck).

The drive is a little out of the way on a bumpy dirt road but once you get there you have a beautiful view of the valley and ranch country. You may not want to tackle with a low clearance car but any 4WD or SUV should be fine, if it is not raining.

You have a beautiful view of the French Man River Valley. You can see for miles. This is just one stop on a scenic drive to Ravenscrag. True ranch country!

Although it is difficult to get there ( dirt trail, steep climb should have 4WD) the view of the Frenchman River Valley is mazing

Once you reach the top of Jones' Peak you have one of the most outstanding views of the Frenchman River Valley. This view reaches right into Montana where you can see the mountains south of Havre. Well worth a visit

One of the most beautiful views in Saskatchewan. It feels like you can see forever. Good birding and lots of other wildlife. Great place for looking at wildflowers,

Super view of the area, well worth the drive. There is a lot of scenery on the route out there. You could do some hiking around the area. Make sure to bring your camera

If you are in the southwest part of Saskatchewan take the time to drive to Jones peak. Follow the grid road up a twisting trail to one of the best 360 degree views in the province.
