Fantastic experience

I was in flip flops so unsure !! But there was a rail to hold on to. The views are just magnificent. An experience I will not forget

I'm worried to hear that you did the walk in flip flops as we recommend that visitors wear sturdy shoes. However you seemed to have managed by using the railings. I'm really glad that you enjoyed your experience and made some lovely memories. Thank you for your fantastic 5 out of 5 rating. More

We arrived 6ish, 3 of us, and trundled in through the gate. Starts off casually, with tempting glimpse of the falls, with bilberries and fungi to keep the interest up. Soon it gets to a wooden pagoda giving a great view of the falls, and then it's the exciting descent of Jacob's ladder followed by a nice arched metal bridge.... More

Amazing waterfalls, which I wouldnt say is on everyones list to do (maybe a good thing) as it was quiet when I went but a really good attraction, I only found out about it from watching Hinterland. Free Parking too.

Hinterland has been a great tv series and they have done a lot of filming in this area. They have recently finished another block of filming here at Devil's Bridge. I can't say what happens !!! Thanks for visiting and for your review. More

As we where in the area,we decided to go and have a look at this attraction, good call.Parking is free(that's a novelty)right next door. Choice of 2 trails,we took the shorter Punchbowl trail, only £1 per person through a turnstile.Steep, but manageable stepped trail right down to the foaming waters, the 3 bridges, each built on top of each other, clearly visible,as was the foaming... We visited on the same day as going on the steam train from aberystwyth as it goes right to it. Good price and lovely walk with great photo opportunities. I would say it is a hard walk, as alot of uneven steps and mud, but plenty of seating around the walk and the falls are well worth it. Great day.

It was on a very wet day that we ventured on this walk. It only takes about 45 minutes but it is up hill on the way with plenty of steps. There is quite a bit of shelter from the trees. you can purchase a guide book for 50p but it is not necessary as only one path to take,... More

I've visited Devils Bridge many times on the Vale of Rheidol Railway but had never made time to visit the falls until my last visit. The falls and the walk are indeed spectacular, and worth the effort to climb down into the valley and up again. You do have to be reasonably fit to do this. My problem with the... More

It has been incredibly difficult to keep up with maintenance on the paths this summer. As soon as we clear the mud away it rains again and we are back to square one. The Spring growth seems to keep on growing and has been cut back several times already. Please remember that it is actually a "nature trail" and not... More

We took the long route to make the most of what is on offer. There are resting places along the route and we were glad of them on the climb up. Jacobs Ladder is not for the faint hearted or the unfit person. Sensible shoes are recommended for the route. There is a shorter route for the less adventurous among... More

Wonderful falls but tricky steep paths which can be slippery - not for the faint hearted and good footwear essential
