My family loves this place! We all suffer from dairy addictions, so this place is perfect for us! So much variety here and a lot of neat items you can't find anywhere else. The many flavours of cheese curds are a big hit. It's a little store in the middle of nowhere and it was packed with shoppers so you... More

I had really been looking forward to visiting pine river cheese after hearing about them in a dairy magazine. I was rather disappointed. The store had no cheese counter to be able to try some of the cheeses before buying and no staff to help with selection. Good thing I knew what I wanted. Wouldn't go again. Better cheese shops... We did not visit the museum and processing viewing area. We were only interested in purchasing some of their delicious cheese.

They have a great variety of cheese. Plus they are one stop on the Huron / Bruce Ice Cream trail. There are usually sample for trying new cheese and fresh cheese curds available. There is also tours to see the cheese actually being made.

Great little store full of interesting cheeses and great products like relishes, chips etc. The food truck in the parking lot is superb, creating home cooked meals to die for. The Cheesy Monki, as the truck is called uses Pine River cheese in their creations such as poutine. Prices are great, as is the service. Give them a try for... More

I've loved Pine River Cheese since I was a kid. Always fun to stop at the factory and treat yourself to a block of cheese or cheese curds!

Cheese is expensive and not that good. They have dumped the whey into Lake Huron in the past. The hours of operation are often not that good

While traveling Hwy 21 on the Bluewater Highway towards Kincardine Ontario, we decided to make a stop at the Pine River Cheese & butter Co-operative. In the past we'd always sped by, but we had an upcoming event for which I needed various cheeses so we thought we would try this place. What a wonderful surprise, not only is the... More

While visiting a friend’s cottage near Kincardine, we stopped by Pine River Cheese and Butter Co-Op. What a fabulous place to buy unique cheeses!! If you love cheese curds, this is your place!! The pepper curds and the garlic curds are to die for! I went home with some aged white cheddar, havarti, blue cheese, medium gouda, and asiago. All... More
