About
Here at Callestick Farm we use fresh milk all from our own grass fed herd of Jersey x Friesian cows, local cream & then add the finest fruits & confectionery to create flavour upon flavour of dreamy, ice creamy indulgence! Our ice cream parlour located in the heart of Cornwall serves a variety of treats including hot waffles, milkshakes, our ever popular Cornish cream teas... (Remember - jam first!) And of course our ice cream sundaes! We are perfect for an afternoon relaxing in our sunny courtyard, after a day at the beach or to shelter in our parlour when the Cornish weather is doing its thing. Our philosophy is simple; a balanced diet is an ice cream in each hand.

We weren’t able to go around the site due to having the dog (understandable) but it was still worth it due to the ice cream. We paid £7 for a portion of cookie dough with one scoop of ice cream, this is a bit steep but is to be expected at a popular place like this. Toilets were clean and there were plenty of parking spaces. The outdoor area was nice and provided plenty of seating for us to enjoy our ice creams.

Our yearly trip to Cornwall always results in a visit to Callestick. This time we opted to have paninis first which was a nice change. Beautifully cooked, served with some crisps and reasonably priced.
Following this, we went for our usual dessert. I always go for a sundae but try a different flavour and my husband has the cookie dough with different ice cream.
This time it was a white chocolate and raspberry sundae and cookie dough with clotted cream and fudge ice cream. They were incredible!
Always worth a visit and we’ve never been disappointed.

Superp selection of delicious ice creams. Was able to offer a gluten free cone and ice cream options with full allergen information. Perfect for Coeliacs. Lovely clean toilets.

Highly recommend! Came here with my family including toddler and a dog. Isla the labradoodle thoroughly enjoyed her doggy ice cream and we all thoroughly enjoyed ours. Highly recommend the mini 6 - very good value for money and my toddler loved all the play equipment! Found the staff to be very helpful and gave suggestions when asked. Will definitely be visiting again

Looked lovely, waited in queue whilst two girls were served. A family then came in and pressed their noses up against the ice cream glass! The girl serving walked away from me and asked them what they wanted, I reminded her politely that I had been waiting. She then came back over to serve me and asked what I wanted, when asking for the cream tea for two, she said that there were no scones left (at midday.)Decided not to bother, shame as idyillic location :-(

We visited here on a Tuesday afternoon and it was quiet - probably because the weather wasn’t playing ball! The ice cream was so good. We had the double scoop waffle cones at £3.60 each. The clotted cream vanilla was to die for. Would I visit again? Yes, absolutely, and we will be before our holiday is over.

Visited on a very hot day in summer whilst waiting for a slot to open in Healeys for a day visit. The lemon drizzle ice cream blew my mind. Kids loved milking the cow too

Ice cream is tasty. Staff a little grumpy. For some reason, and I'm sure they'll cite COVID-19 although give other cafes cam manage it I'm not sure that's a reason, they have removed all tables and chairs, inside and out. So you basically buy your ice cream and because you are in the middle of nowhere, you just stand and eat the ice cream in a courtyard (in close proximity to every other group squashed under the small tent when its raining). Toilets closed.
If I'd known I couldn't sit down to enjoy my ice cream I would have saved the journey and brought the same ice cream somewhere where I could sit down!

Hi there! We are happy to hear you enjoyed our ice cream! We are sorry that the toilets had to be closed and indoor and outdoor seating had to be taken away due to Covid -19, we have made all the changes we can to ensure the virus doesn't have the potential to spread and to keep our county safe. Every business is different in what it can offer its customers and we are trying our best. Myself and my girlfriend stopped here this afternoon in between our visit to Newquay and a trip to the nearby Cider Farm.
Don’t expect an awful lot during these times, as the viewing gallery to watch the ice cream being made, and the tea room are all currently closed. We also didn’t see the cows, but due to the current situation, that’s understandable. However, the farm is still open for business, and you are able to pop in and purchase as much ice cream as you please.
The pigs were a nice touch and were very friendly and curious by our presence.
The ice cream was by far some of the best we’ve ever tried, and it really makes you appreciate local produce over shop brought products even more. We would come here again if we are in the area.

First time we have been here, we've been meaning to visit every time we come to nearby Healey's Cyder Farm. Although we understand that things are far from normal at the moment the staff member was friendly and pleasant. We ordered hot drinks - which were reasonably priced - and arrived promptly. We didn't try the ice cream while on site, but did take some away with us and look forward to trying it! We'll probably be back next year, and hope to visit under more normal circumstances!

I don’t think they are allowed inside the tearoom but we always used to sit outside rain or shine as there was seats in a covered area with our dog
