This unique sea route will take you past iconic maritime locations, historic houses and landmarks, as well as taking you up close to the array of ocean-going vessels laid up at anchor on the upper reaches of the Fal River.

You'll cross the third deepest natural harbour in the world when you reach Falmouth with its bustling docks overlooked by two Tudor castles.

Snacks, hot refreshments and toilets are available on board and there is also an informative commentary from the boat's skipper.

Due to low tide, our trip started via a bus trip on a very narrow lane to the scenic hamlet of Malpas before the boat collected us. We boarded, trip commenced with commentary (difficult to hear at rear of boat downstairs). We had beautiful views so took full advantage of taking photos. The trip took well over an hour and... We started in Falmouth headed towards Truro. The tour included a running commentary of local sights and history which on the way to Truro we would have enjoyed way more if the sound system would have been clearer to hear the information? On our return boat the sound system was excellent and we could hear all the commentary. There is... More

Really recommend to people looking for things to do with the kids. Great views of the harbour (Falmouth) and good value when booked online. The crew were great, especially helpful when our toddler dropped his shoe into the under-deck area. Thank you for a memorable day out.

As a surprise for my wife we went on the trip to Falmouth from Truro, we were blessed with a lovely spring day weather wise. It was a great trip, take something windproof for the sea section, it was a good day out.

A very smart, clean and comfortable boat with friendly crew. Fantastic up-to-date commentary pointing out buildings, views etc of interest and birds which are only normally seen on river banks. A bonus to be outside, above or inside the boat, should the weather be inclement. A good trip even if the weather is not too sunny. Will definitely do it... More

We do this trip at least once every year and it never loses its magic. The views down the river are spectacular and the well informed crew and commentary make it even more enjoyable whatever the weather. If you have the time the 2 or 3 day Fal mussel card enables you to use 3 more ferries, flushing, st mawes... More

We took to boat from Falmouth to Trelissick return and it was just lovely. It's scenic, relaxing and the skipper added an interesting commentary and a little good corny humour!! All in all an extremely pleasant round trip - next time we'll do the whole trip to Truro (or visa versa!).

I've lived in Cornwall all my life and this is something I've never done before so my wife and I gave it a go. Fabulous. The scenery is beautiful and the crew made the trip interesting with a good commentary covering the countryside and some history. Very relaxing. Go for it. A lovely bit of Cornwall.
