I have been to the Cathedral for many reasons in the past, performing, speaking, visits and watching. Everytime I find myself looking around in amazement at how incredible a place it is and how lucky Truro is to have a Cathedral of its size. It's a great place, has a great atmosphere and so I think that is its a... More

What an imposing building in central Truro, never get lost with these structural towers as observation points. Points go to the council for maintaining the ecclesiastic feel to the Cathedral and surrounds.

Whilst Christmas shopping we popped into the Cathedral for a cup of coffee and a snack after the machine in Thorntons was not working. To our surprise the coffee was better than I have anywhere else in the town, the scones were lovely and the comfy sofa's were just what you need to get away. The staff are excellent and... More

Our choir was in residence for a week and we were warmly welcomed, shown all around and treated like long lost family. The Dean of the Cathedral is so warm, friendly and has a great sense of humor! It's unique in that instead of the town building up around the cathedral the cathedral was built on the space where there... More

As an ex-serviceman I look up to the right as I enter (if still in position) to look at the Standards of the many local Burma Star Associations which have been placed there, with reverence, and reflect on the service given by the men & women they represent,. many of the "Forgotten Army". ..

Definitely a must visit place when visiting Truro, finished in the late Victorian period, the layout is similar to a typical Gothic cathedral but with the caveat that it was finished in the late 19 century. Looks beautiful when illuminated at night.

Nearly every time I visit Truro I always go into the cathedral and light the candle of a memory of a close family member that has passed away. Very relaxing and spiritual place
