Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely park kept in clean condition with well kept garden areas. Lovely lake is central. A fabulous cafe facing the lake (LakesideCafe) serving lovely snacks and excellent hot/cold meals. Seating both inside and outside the cafe. Dogs welcome outside and designated tables inside, except in the evening. Some parking spaces at the side of park. Overall great visits (we went three times in the week) Can't recommend enough, simply a welcoming place!

Paid a visit to the newly opened (22/06/23) Coffee shop, the young female and male extremely pleasant and helpful. Well worth a visit they're open for ideas of what to include on the food menu, highly recommended.

Not remotely dog friendly as advertised on the 'Visit Truro dog friendly' website - the dog exercise area does not exist and dogs are banned from most areas. Only dog walking - and on lead - is around the perimeter, along a path which runs along and above the muddy river bank, so not idea.

This was a super spot to stumble across. We had an hour to kill and very pleasantly spent it here. Beautiful gardens, walks and views. Plenty of wildlife - the whole experience was very calming with this exquisitely serene place.

Recommended to visit this park if we had time by the lady in the tourist office.
We took the walk to the park which is about a mile from the centre of Truro. It was a lovely walk and the park is very well provided with toilets and refreshment facilities.
After a short rest and a coffee we went back to the City to continue to explore. The view of the Cathedral from here is excellent, as Truro is quite low level it dominates City.

Visited following a recommendation, good open space, nice play area - with different things than the usual parks.
Can walk along the river and the is a little pond on the other side of the road.
Little coffee/tea hut which was reasonably priced and the servers were very friendly
Not much for older children although did notice there were tennis courts on the same site

A big area beside the river 1km out of Truro, with cathedral views, a cafe and ice cream van, good play area for children, trees and beautiful gardens of flowers in the Summer. Sports pitches and Truro cricket ground. Over the road a large duck pond to walk round and a good cafe/restaurant.
