Carlton's Percy Jones has moved his show from the Astor in Carlton to the North Fitzroy Arms, which is a nicer pub in the back streets with lots of wood fires burning in winter and Percy sitting in the front bar keeping an eye on...More

A Sunday roast, variety of options including something for vegetarian child. A small but good wine list. This is a good place for family lunch. Love in winter when fire is going. Front bar for an ale with mates good too. I'll be back.

Pop in for a drink. If Maddy is there she'll look after you. She knows her footy, will let you sample some of the local boutique brews before you buy, and is a great conversationalist. Wish I had more time to spend here.

Recently I was in the pub for the social dinner with Footy Almanac writers. It's a unique pub for me as Japanese - having Percy's photos while playing for Carlton Football Club. And the atmosphere was great. Percy and his bartenders were friendly and make...More

A decent local but that's about where it stops. Good bar. Food's ok but not spectacular. There's nothing that jumps out as exceptional here though.

Delicious food at great prices. Specially the weekly specials. Friendly staff, with a relaxed atmosphere. The beer garden was nice to relax in and enjoy a beverage or two with friends.

I'm the middle of what would've been a bustling industrial town, this quaint old pub rears its head. Serving MORNINGTON and COBURG lager for a fair price and food to match. Located 200m from the 96 and 11 tram line. Worth a peak if you...More

Don't be put off by the down-at-heel appearance of this local pub. (I've been going there for about 20 years and seen it through many transformations. It now badly, badly needs a reno.) Still, if you're up for a quick meal you'd be happy with...More
