If you want to view a wide variety of coral, this is the place to see it. The beach is fairly narrow surrounding this small bay, and access is via a tunnel which goes under Merriman's driveway. In addition to the coral, you will see a variety of local fish and an occasional sea turtle while snorkeling. If you time... More

Kapalua beach does not have a very big parking area most people have to park on the road or be staying at a hotel close by. All that being said the beach is clean and not very crowded. You have an option of laying on the sand or the grassy area. The water is somewhat protected so not very big... More

This beach is well-maintained and free. It surrounds a lagoon where many people snorkle. Fish are plentiful and varied, though we found only a few schools to swim with. My wife swam with a sea turtle for 4-5 minutes. It's an easy walk from the highway and has convenient parking.

Very lovely small beach that runs a bit narrow. Super snorkeling throughout. We saw two turtles during our short stay. Odd that this beach is highly rated though, it is very rocky once in the water and would be pretty crummy if you were a kid who just wanted to swim and play in the waves. This isn't the place... Today winds were were force 6-7 on the Beaufort scale and other nearby beaches were great for surfing but useless for swimming. This gorgeous little beach was calm and the sands golden. Easy access

Surrounded by condos and a resort ,this beach still reminds one why so many people come here. Another great option for a "day at the beach".

The beach is beautiful. The beach has public access walkway and parking but easy to park on road and take a short walk. We saw some turtles sunning on the beach. Pleanty of snorkeling around the area. If looking for a beach north of Lahaina it is worth stopping.

We walked the Trail to this beach to check it out. It's a great sandy beach somewhat protected from waves and offers great swimming and snorkelling. As it's fairly small the beach does fill up. There is also a great snack bar and washrooms too.

Although it is a beautiful setting, be careful at this beach. There can be dangerous undertow conditions.
