We went especially into Huntingdon to visit this museum. It advertises as open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 to 3pm. At 11.45pm on a Saturday it was closed.

This is a small museum dedicated to Oliver Cromwell and his family that contains interesting personal items, many of which are unique. Knowledgeable volunteer staff on duty who can talk about the objects and about that period of history.

Enjoyed this small museum about a man I admit I don't know much, enthusiastic and knowledgeable manager (stuart?), some good exhibits but the star of the show was the Cromwell key/lock, wonderful workmanship and detail, absolutely fantastic

Small but interesting little place with a really enthusiastic curator. Loved the satirical medal of Cromwell! While there, pick up a leaflet for the Town Trail - it's really interesting.

Very interesting if not small museum in the centre of Huntingdon, approx. 20 miles south of Peterborough. Entry is free although donations are welcome if you wish. It occupies only one room but is crammed with history. Plenty to read, see, including examples of uniforms...More

Visited here one Saturday afternoon while on business. The museum is probably about 100 square meters in size, but is packed with exhibits and information cards about Oliver Cromwell's life. You could spend between 30min and an hour here. There were two guides there, and...More
