History buffs will love this place. Lots to learn, to see. You can spend time reading up lots of stuff. You can also buy reminders of your visit.

Small, but perfectly formed museum that deals with everything Oliver Cromwell, the most famous son of the town. Be prepared to interrogate staff who are knowledgeable. Only a few hours needed, unless you are an Oliver Cromwell scholar, then a visit could take considerably longer.

Very small museum. Gentleman in the museum was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. Really will only take 30 minutes to look around one room.
