A truly magnificent memorial to the brave and heroic. Set at the top of the wonderful High Street. A must visit.

Take a few minutes out if your busy life to show respect to these fallen victims. Beautiful memorial ! Me and my partner picked up some of the fallen over poppies.

Situated at the top of the High Street,in front of the Church,in the middle of a roundabout,the memorial pays tribute to the local people who fell in the Great Wars.Similar tributes are found in most cities and towns.Still worth a look.

right at the top of the main street is this very impressive war memorial looking down across the town and the surrounding dales scenery.
