The success of Island Turf Craft over the years means these pieces are no longer 'different' for locals. But people not from here find them unique and interesting. I've given many as gifts and they have always been appreciated.

This is a souvenir store with a little display on the history and geography of turf cutting. It's terrific. We bought some unique local carvings, pottery, and jewelry at reasonable prices. The bog display isn't modern museum quality, but informative and interesting. No pressure to...More

Well worth calling in to if your in the area. The museum is excellant and your sure to leave with something learnt and storys to tell. Many great items for sale also.

Great spot to buy those unusual wedding gifts or something just a little bit unique, staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
