Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Alley is like a gem in Strabane! They have a variety of shows and events for everyone. The actual theater is not huge but it is a nice time out.
The staff is so friendly and helpful.
I can't imagine Strabane without the Alley.
They even have a small restaurant and bar that is really nice.

This is a great theatre that provides entertainment throughout the year to suit all ages & tastes. It never fails to disappoint & offers a relaxing environment with a bar for those all important pre * post theatre drinks. There are often lives shows in the bar area which makes the experience more informal, intimate & relaxing. The main theatre itself is a perfect size seating for approx 300 people. Plays, comedians, live music & some local big names & talent are always to be seen at The Alley

I recently attended a performance in the alley theatre which was really enjoyable
As a venue I find the alley to be comfortable and clean but my one gripe is that during a performance you are not permitted to eat or drink. Drinks are available from the in house bar during the intermission however it takes quite a while to be served which leaves you with very little time to 'enjoy' your purchased refreshment !
Some leeway around this would be a good improvement I feel

I have personally performed twice now in this venue and have to say it is my absolute favourite venue to perform in. So professional and puts performers at ease as we have no concerns when it comes to this venue. Cannot wait to return in December.

I went to a jazz evening and found it relaxing with excellent musicians and it was fun with songs which were sung well. The ambience was relaxing and the staff were friendly. On a wet night and for just £8 each it was well worth it. In the front it had some tables and chairs and wine and beer were on sale along with tea and coffee and soft drinks crisps which were served with a smile. I would recommend it as it hosts various entertainment nights for differing tastes. The toilets were clean.

I live in England but had a weeks holiday in Strabane visiting family. We went to see Isla Grant in the Alley Theatre on 27th February 2013. What a brilliant night. I sang my heart out to her songs & got a signed CD & photo of me with Isla after the show.
