I noticed the signposts to this new tearoom at greenisland golf club and decided to pop by and see what it was like. Accessibility is a problem as the tearoom is up a steep flight of stairs and there is no lift - this means for someone like myself with mobility problems it's not a place I will be rushing back to. That's a shame as this quaint little cafe has promise - the tables are spread throughout what was clearly living accommodation and there are some lovely views across the golf course from some. The food on offer is basic but very tasty - we had soup and and it was very nice. There were some lovely buns on offer but we only had our soup so can't comment on the buns.

We have only got around to trying out this recently opened lovely upstairs Tearoom on the first floor at Greenisland Golf Club. Very nice decor & furnishings are all new and there are three tearooms themed after famous local champions, namely: the Rory McIlroy room, the Darren Clarke room and of course the Graeme McDowell room. What a super little find! We had the all day breakfast which was delicious and the staff were happy, smiling and very attentive. Prices are very reasonable too. This is one we will definitely be wearing a path to and trying out everything else on the menu. We liked the idea of the separate rooms as it made for a more intimate setting and they would be ideal for a small private group (I expect each might hold approx. 12-15, possibly 20). Well worth a visit.

A little hidden gem. Two couples for food and drink on a Wednesday night. Hats off to the bar and restaurant staff for making it a very pleasant experience. Food excellent and beer ice cold on a hot summers night 😊

I can only give a review here on the food as I do not play golf. Food excellent and not over expensive. Good selection, very clean and tidy, staff very helpful.
