It’s an old station which happily means you can sit inside while waiting. I like it because it looks like a proper station. It gets 5 stars because the staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful

Car park can be full mid morning, so leave time to go across the road to the St Brides St car park. Staff are pleasant and the station is kept clean and tidy. Use service once a week and can not complain about timekeeping. Cuts...More

Well preserved/maintained train station with modern amenities. Friendly staff and good size indoor waiting area (for those cold and rainy days/nights). Large car park area. Conveniently located very close to the center of Carrickfergus - a 5 minute walk to the waterfront area and castle....More

Use this station quite a lot since I retired in past three years! The car park is free though always very full but you can also park for free a short distance in the St Brides car park!! Trains either go to Whitehead Larne direction...More

This station is access to the rail and bus system. Easy access parking on property. Tellers are very helpful

Carrickfergus Railway Station is well looked after and has a small waiting room where there is a newsagents shop,which also sells coffee to go.The station dates back to the 1800's
