Fantastic session with Rathlin Adventures last Saturday 'Stand Up Paddleboarding' (SUP) along the beautiful Ballintoy coastline. Our group comprised of four young chaps, of varying athletic ability, during a Stag weekend. Firstly, the SUP basics were covered in Ballintoy Harbour, much to the amusement of the locals; 'Man Overboard!'. Before long however we were taking on the high seas. Conditions were challenging and provided a stern test for our newly acquired SUP skills. Head honcho Peter was most approachable, ensured our safety throughout and provided much craic during our voyage. 10/10. Would do again, no doubt.

We had a fun time trying out paddleboarding in Ballintoy Harbour, near Bushmills, paddling through the scenic "Game of Thrones Iron islands" Pete provided good quality equipment and gave us confidence to stand up and get the best from paddling in between the islands - it was relatively easy and once I'd fallen in a couple of times (it was a bit windy), I didn't mind getting wet!! I would definitely recommend this for all ages

What a great activity this was! We got in touch with Pete via the website and arranged a session for our family (two children 8&4). We weren’t sure if it would be something our youngest could participate in but Pete was excellent and was able to provide a super experience for us all. Our four year old got to sit on the front of the paddle board whilst the rest of us had a go at trying out paddle boarding for the first time. Pete had a plan A, plan B (and probably a plan C!) for us which meant that we had the perfect time according to our ability. By the end of the session I was doing proper paddleboarding and the kids had a brilliant time with even our four year old trying his best to paddle the board! This is a must do for us when we come back next year. I would thoroughly recommend Pete and Rathlin Adventures.

We had a fab morning paddleboarding in Portballintrae, despite the wind. Carla was lovely- friendly, knowledgable, and great with the kids. She is clearly a very experienced instructor and we felt safe throughout the activity. I would definitely recommend Rathlin Adventures. Hopefully, we will be back soon!
