Once you have seen the causeway take a drive along the beautiful coastline as it weaves it way along a spectacular coast on a clear day you can see Scotland and the Mull coast. Some remote pretty villages along the way before dropping down into...More
We drove this route the day after Storm Ali caused havoc.
Callm and sunny. Great road, fantastic views and well signposted. Many places to see and pllaces to turn off for a great cup of tea or just to enjoy the splendour of nature.
This is the longer way to get around in Northern Ireland, but so worthwhile! There are plenty of pull-offs to just get out of your car and stand in stunned silence. We drove along the whole coastal road north of Belfast, around the Giant's Causeway,...More
Loved this drive as it has spectacular scenery, and was not too busy so allowed me as the driver to enjoy it as well
Plenty of places to stop and explore, to numerous to mention! but would recommend Bushmills
This trip has been on my bucket list for a long time. Its a fabulous drive, there is so much to see and many interesting places to stop off at. The views on every part are spectacular. You probably need a few days to do...More

We drowe from Portrush to Belfast in one day, stopped for a swim two times and took the motorway from Larne. It was mostly driving. It was ok with us, because we have seen the musts before. So it’s up to you: if you want just drive, 2,5 days is enough, but there is so much to see... and you should stop at least Giant’s Causeway, Ballycastle (eat at O’Connors), Portrush, Duncle castle, Carrick-a-rede, Carrickfergus, etc. Road from Ballycastle to Larne is slow but absolutely hilarious😝
Raymond - yes I believe you can.

Also 5 miles off the causeway (eastwards) there is White Park Bay. Here there is a Youth Hostel but before you get that far there is a free car park - This bay is more picturesque than Giants causeway and doesn’t have the mass Chinese tourists 😀
