Very interesting! Was great to see how the spades are made using the old equipment. Guides were very knowledgeable. Wanted a spade but they are quite expensive!!

From beginning to end it was a very interesting visit. Some real classic old school engineering that we should still be using today. Staff were Excellent. This is the only running spade mill running in the UK and possibly Europe.

Well, this is a little hidden gem! It had been recommended for an overnight stop in our motorhome. We did the tour and the guides and demonstrations were fantastic. Let's hope they keep this one opened; we loved it.

I love these types of places, unpretentious and educational and above all else you can buy yourself an actual spade!!!!!! I love it. A great tour of the blacksmith forge where they make spades and you really get the feel of the intense work involved...More

This is a converted water Mill that makes spades. It is not a zoo or a circus so I guess the answer is no.
