Albert and the team were fantastic when we travelled from portadown with a group of pre teens to do paddle boarding, the kids absolutely loved it. I have been and will continue to recommend these guys to anyone wanting a fun filled water activity uo at the North coast. They couldn't do enough for all of the kids.

We booked my son in for the surf camp which was 2hrs a day for 4 days and he loved it. I was worried it would be too much for him as he’s only 7 but he really enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to go back next year. Would definitely recommend to anyone. The craic is 90 💫

We had initially booked in for sunset paddle boarding. We arrived, met Ethan, who was polite, professional and made sure we had everything we needed to keep us safe and gave us a quick introduction to paddling. We had paid for the photo package which was great as we didn’t have to worry about trying to get our own. Unfortunately the wind picked up which made it really challenging. Ethan was great and suggested we could rebook with surf school one morning in the week.
We emailed to arrange it and it was booked by Troggs without any hassle. At surf school we were looked after by Albert- again really polite and professional. We started on the beach with a quick introduction and safety information- then into the water to catch the waves. We all really loved the surf school and it really made up for the paddle boarding that was cut short.
Some of us were better than others and managed to stand up- but we all had loads of fun.
We have used Troggs a few times for hiring and surf school and I always find the staff friendly and helpful. As a mum, I was reassured by how they prioritise everyone’s safety whilst ensuring everyone has fun.
Couldn’t fault Troggs they are a great team!
If you have your own wet suits then you can wear them. There are some showers you can use to rinse down.
There is a car park at the beach so we just packed loads of towels and dry clothes and left them in the car.
Once we’d finished we headed up to the Troggs shop in Portrush and bought some bobble hats and hoodies as a memento. The bobble hats are the best hats I have ever worn.

Had a great time paddle boarding with my family at Troggs school. All of us loved it and hope to go back again! The beach is amazing, the sea was calm and we saw dolphins swimming around. The instructor was great and I would recommend paying for the photo package as it is a great record of a fun time had by all.

I had a great time taking my first-time-surfing nephew to the kids' camp and was thrilled that they let me join, too. I was very impressed with the vibe and professionalism of all of the instructors. They were incredibly friendly and supportive. My 8-year-old nephew was beaming after our lesson and said that surfing is his new favourite water sport and might also be tied with Rugby for all-time best sport, which is saying a lot! I had a great time being back on a surfboard for the first time in years. A big thanks to Ethan and Albert! It was such a great touch to send through such excellently crafted photos to help us commemorate the experience!

Troogs academy was outstanding, all very helpful and Albert 5 stars, my children engage easily and enjoyed lots the lessons lots, they start to catch waves the first day… I will recommend Troogs academy absolutely.
Also, they have full equipment and the location is perfect.

I booked this for myself, my wife & two kids ( 12 & 13 ). They were all a little apprehensive about it, but that changed very quickly! It was an amazing day and we felt very well taken care of. The whole team made sure the experience was special and the photos are amazing! Special thanks goes out to Annie! I thought this would be one to tick off the bucket list, but now we're all looking for more lessons and our own wet-suits & board's! Thank you Trogg's for everything!
