A superb and awe-inspiring panorama stretches out from this hilltop viewing point of the Ards Peninsula and Strangford Lough on a cloudless and crisp early Autumn afternoon.A reward for the effort of making it up to the top.

My two daughters and I conquered Scrabo Tower in the wind and rain. Worth it as the views of Strangford Lough are fantastic from the top and we’ve built up a fabulous appetite!!

You can see this 'beacon' when leaving Bangor and traveling the Arts Peninsula. It's a memorial to one of the family members of Mount Stewart. Very impressive.
