Great cookery class with chef Moynihan - got this for my girlfriend as a present and was told it was superb - informative, fun and very hands-on. The Centre itself looks kind of empty and underutilised but it is possible it was just the timing (Saturday afternoon) that made it feel that way. …

The Nautilus Centre is worth visiting while in Kilkeel, located at Kilkeel Harbour. We picked up things to do during our stay in the Tourist Informaton centre. For those who are interested in fishing there is a great range of fishing rods and tackle available. You can also browse round the nautical gifts and jewellrey and we also enjoyed the Maritime photographic display. There is plenty of parking infront of the building where we watched the fishing boats coming in and out of the harbour, while we enjoyed a nice ice cream. We then took a walk around Kilkeel town centre which has a good range of gift and various shops. We stopped of for lunch in Rustons restaurant at the Kilkmorey Arms Hotel and had a lovely meal with friendly service. Kilkeel is a great place to stop of while visiting the Mourne Mountains.…
