Great place to visit. Great walks, fresh air and beautiful scenery. Worth the visit. 10 minutes from Kilkeel. You can walk from carpark up to Ben Crom reservior. About 5/6km each way. Just loved it! A must see place. Only drawback is the cost to park. Cars £4.50. But I would recommend.

Well worth visiting if in the area but at this time of year the cafe and visitor centre were both closed so need to check beforehand.

We visited with the family in April. The whole place is lovely and peaceful. Lots of ducks in the small pond and a good playground with plenty of picnic benches around. Toilets were clean and handy near the car park. The cafe or interpretive centre weren't open when we visited. There are plenty of walks accessible with buggies and lots... More

Great for a relaxing walk. The scenery is amazing, the only complaint I have is that we where charged £4.50 to park the car and there was no shuttle bus to the Dam. It was low season and I think the charge should be relaxed at times like this.

WOW!! The views are spectacular, you can almost feel yourself become one with nature, in the peace and quiet of this place. The drive up it is breathtaking also, but be aware that it is a one way road. Once you park, you have a choice of walks, which vary in lengths, a play area and pond. Good sturdy footwear... More

Absolutely drop dead gorgeous!!! The location takes you right into the heart of the Mournes and beyond if you want. We walked to the 2nd dam called Ben Crom Reservoir. The views from the top of this are amazing. Would also be great for bikes with young children to the end of the silent valley.

We had a New Years Day dander here, a beautiful little park, trails are well laid out, would be great to bring up a little picnic with the kids
