I am fortunate to live in Oversley Green so have easy access to this wood. I go there quite regularly and often it is possible to have a good long walk without seeing another sole. There is a good (hardcore) circular walk around the edge...More

My father has a remebrance bench on the cross roads as he loved these woods . Peaceful , listening to the wildlife or possibly seeing the wildlife too and also at the peak of the wood looking views looking across Alcester

This is a very pleasant walk popular with dog walkers and the odd cycle. The paths are rough and steep in places with bench's in places, great when the bluebells are out.

This is a lovely wooded area with plenty of different flora and fauna to be found. Appropriate footwear is needed especially after rain. The circular walk is about 4 km long but there are plenty of public footpaths around Oversley Wood to explore, too.

A very pretty wood with a track road for easy walking and paths going off if you want to take short cuts, beautiful bluebells everywhere and we saw deer and rabbits. Very peaceful but hard to find and not much car parking room, but worth...More

Go there a few times a year either on foot or on my mtb. Good for a visit whatever the weather as there is a hard track that loops round the wood but also several dirt paths through the trees

We went with friends for the boys to have a bit of a run around. Yes it was very muddy - which only enhanced the excitement levels of the kids. Pathways into the woods, benches to rest and dens to build or breakdown...a lovely couple...More

Most reviews assume a start from the off the by-pass but you can use other points from Oversley Green which is closer to the town of Alcester and start/finish in a pub or tea shop in town. The woods are always good for quiet contemplation...More

We visited early Saturday morning expecting lots of dog walkers, in fact there was only one other car in the car parking area. Previously we have followed the path around the small hill, this time we went up and down a few times. It was...More

you need to take the road towards oversley green and then the road to the woods is on the left hand side ( there is a small signpost) it is a single track road
