Gardens are always well manicured with the correct measurement of wildness still. The tea room could do with improvement but still serves good food.

We walked from Bradford on Avon after lunch, along the canal to the pub by the water at Avoncliffe then on a public footpath that cut through a wood and then through a quiet housing development. About 1 hour one way. Stopped at the pub...More

Highly recommended. Magnificent views from such beautiful gardens. Went during the week, so fairly quiet. Each section was breathtaking.

What a lovely way to spend a bank holiday - lots of things to see and some lovely views. Peaceful and relaxing even with the steep climbs! Finished with a lovely coffee and shortbread. Well worth a visit and very reasonably priced.

We visited these gardens with a group and were travelling by coach after visiting Longleat. On approaching Bradford on Avon the driver misunderstood instructions and took a circuitous route along narrow lanes which were unsuitable for coaches. When we eventually arrived late at Iford Manor...More

This garden is set into the hillside so has quite a few steep paths. There is a tea room but not many seats in the actual garden and none in the shade that were vacant when we came on a very sunny hot day. There...More
