I loved this museum. Very friendly lady welcomed me and gave me a bit of background to Chesterfield and then left me to wander at my own pace. Lots of local history represented and a great little film of local events with a fabulous narrator.

Been in Chesterfield for 18 years and never visited before but decided to pop in during school holidays for a short visit. Really friendly staff, really well exhibited displays and items to view and overall a short but really enjoyable visit.

Lets be honest, I visited because there was a biblical storm outside and I had some time to kill. Having said that it was a very interesting way to pass an hour (or two). The museum is small but manages to bring everything together for...More
