Fabulous day. 4 hours foraging for wild mushrooms, berries and greens with an expert. Another 2 hours spend watching him make a delicious meal with the foraged items.

I had a fantastic day yesterday at the cookery school with Steph showing us how to make three different types of artisan bread. Great organisation and tutoring, lovely location and I came home with the best bread ever! Lots of tips and suggestions. Delicious lunch was provided too. It was a wonderful way to spend a Saturday meeting new friends. Can thoroughly recommend.

Just had the most inspiring and informative day learning vegan recipes. I am not vegan but would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn something new or eat for health.
Hartingtons cookery school is light and airy, well equipped and in a fantastic location.
Everyone is friendly and welcoming, creating an environment where it is easy to learn.
A fabulous way to spend a day.

Another fabulous day of contemporary cake decorating. Charlotte has a talent for making seemingly complex techniques accessible and straightforward. I learned lots of new skills and had fun! The pace and content were well judged for both beginners and those with some experience of cake decorating. The venue is well equipped, light and airy with great views. Julie and Chris were excellent hosts as always. Looking forward to the next course!

Excellent day at this delightful venue. Very friendly, one day course for singles or a couple of friends. Extremely interesting and proficient tutor, lots of laughs too. We made 3 cheeses in the one day and were given good written information to take home. Splendid lunch included. A lot of fun and most encouraging.

An inspirational day! Fulfilling a lifelong ambition, we made three cheeses under the expert tutelage of cheesemaker Phil Heler.
The course is excellent: well paced, perfectly pitched, with all the materials you need to take home three different cheeses you make on the day, and instructions on how to repeat the process at home. Facilities are ideal for the process, and with assistants working tirelessly to clean up and get the next materials ready as you go alon, you can fully concentrate on the cheesemaking, spoilt by having no chores!
The lunch was also sensational: simple but elegant locally-sourced food.
I cannot recommend highly enough. I loved it!

Wonderful day out learning the basics of chocolate making with Lisa Davies of Deli-Cious. Nice setting in which to work and a wonderful lunch. Hope to be making and eating my own chocolates soon. Other interesting food courses ru at this venue with expert tuition.

Brilliant and informative day with Lisa today. Came away filled with confidence that I will be able to recreate the chocolate recipes at home. Lovely atmosphere throughout and delightful lunch. Highly recommend.

We had a great day at Hartingtons for their coffee shop course. It was insightful, helpful and incredibly honest which was what we really wanted. There were great handouts and notes provided and a lovely lunch at the restaurant next door. The team at Hartingtons were very hospitable and friendly. Thanks for a great day - lots learnt!
