Very friendly bar. Food free except on Monday (market day) lunchtimes. Great place for a really good pint, a glass of wine and a natter!

Visited Sun. 7th Aug '16 with partner + daughter @ 1pm, stood patiently, cash in hand, waiting for the barman to finish serving the only other group in the building (3 people), their payment is taken and we get ready to tell the barman our order...Nah! He decides to serve about 5 or more people that have just piled into... More

We went to this pub on Sat 18th June when we were camping at the Eroica festival in Bakewell and wanted somewhere to watch the England v Australia rugby game - no pub in Bakewell had Sky Sports, and the advertised rugby pub The Manners landlord was not at all friendly and deliberately didn't open to let us in, so... My title sums up my feeling for this pub. Excellent decor. Comfy seating. Excellent large space for groups. But no cards accepted... What?!?! Would have been 4/5 if they took card.

Visited Bakewell to have a stroll around the market, quite a cool wind so looked for a local hostelry for warmth and food. There are plenty of places offering food, but fortunately we chose the Queens. We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff and chose from a good selection of well kept beers. The menu is limited but the sandwiches... More

I called in the Queens Arms Bakewell on Christmas Day, what a lovely atmosphere, real coal fire, superb Beers and Spirits. What else could you want from a local pub, this is a real pub with real Beers & not one of the cafe pubs with coffee cups & do gooders everywhere. Happy New Year to everyone at the Queens... More

Took mum to Bakewell today, Christmas Day. This public house establishment was open at lunch and the rain was driving. Warmth required. The Signs on ALL windows stated "Lavazza Coffee Served Here" so what would YOU think??? Me and mum walked in and asked for 2 white coffees "Sorry sir, we don't serve coffee today" I then asked if it... More

Only visited for a drink when staying in Bakewell. Found it to be very clean and comfortable. It served real ales and had a lovely open fire.
