About
Teamplay offers outdoor activities in a woodland setting for family days out, stag & Hen Parties, birthday parties, and corporate away days. There is a choice of activities including our great assault course, archery, axe throwing, team challenges and bushcraft/woodland courses. You also have the opportunity in the woods to create your own camp for the day with hammocks and cook your own lunch at the fire pit. We also provide on-site programmes for schools bringing outdoor education to your school. These are great sessions enabling teachers to provide valuable catch up lessons for pupils and also a great way to provide PE lessons.

Excellent day!! We did Axe throwing, Archery & a very fun, wet and muddy assault course. It was so funny. We were a group of 10 family and friends and Andy allowed us to have a great day, he was incredibly friendly & flexible. 100% recommend this day out of you’re in the Derbyshire area & want a unique fun filled activity day!

Thanks so much Andy for an excellent start to our holiday, taking part in your archery session. We are a family group of 7 adults, including one with a learning disability, not all of whom had taken part in archery before. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, having a great time in such a wonderful woodland setting.
Andy is an excellent host and coach, and we really appreciated the assistance he gave to our disabled son.
If only we lived closer we would be returning regularly. We all thoroughly recommend this well thought out, exciting and fun activity.

Had a brilliant Archery and Axe throwing session with Andy, we’ve done Archery a few times over the years but Andy was able to teach us a few new tricks we didnt know before.

The axe throwing was tricky but soon got the hang of it and throughly enjoyed.

Brilliant little location as well, highly recommend.

Thanks Andy 👍

Amazing place for a family day out. There is so much to do in the woodland and you even get chance to cook your own lunch on an open fire. We did archery and the assault course and it was the highlight of our starvation this year. Will be back again for another day in the woods soon.

I've booked Teamplay for my large primary school a couple of times and they have organised amazing, onsite problem solving games for all years from rec to Y6. There were a number of experienced instructors who were skilled in encouraging young children.
Really well organised, really good fun and fantastic skills learned-including Team play!
Activities and timings were carefully planned by Andy to make sure the day ran smoothly.

We organised an "extreme challenge" and archery through teamplay as part of our weekend visit to Peak District. The total size of the group was 11 so not a small effort to organise at all!

Sam and Colin met us at the designated start point (prompt arrival and easy to find) and instantly put us at ease with their knowledge of the area and activities and also with a bit of light banter.

During the challenge itself (approx 5km through varied terrain including streams, mountains, rock climbing etc) we got lost numerous times (more through our woeful ability to identify any road short of a motorway!) but either Sam or Colin was always on hand to redirect us and reassure us that we were being monitored and help was close at hand should anything happen.

Quick tip: Definitely wear a good pair of trainers/hiking boots - even if they're your favourite and you don't want to put them through muddy streams etc! The terrain can be quite tricky and it's not worth spraining an ankle or tripping for the sake of preserving some shoes. There were a few quick challenges along the way - to keep things interesting and also to give us a bit more knowledge of the area but overall was a fairly nice way to start the trip.

Following a quick lunch stop (fairly short as we'd taken longer to complete the route than most!) we headed off for Archery. Sam was our main chaperone along with an archery expert (I apologise as his name has slipped from memory) to guide us through the basic steps and safety briefings. Following that we had a decent amount of attempts at hitting varied targets and a few competitions along the way (with a bonus prize at the end!).

I would highly recommend these activities for anyone visiting the Peak and would definitely recommend Teamplay - they really know what they're talking about, they are reassuring in their expertise and above all else they know how to have a good time.

We booked the orienteering 2 hour challenge for our friend's hen do and it was a brilliant experience. Fantastic forest and scenery and great challenges along the way. Andy and his team were fantastic and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it! A great activity for all!!

TeamPlay were responsible for the first days activities during our early March 2014 stag do. We opted to take part in the team challenge extreme (in the morning) and gorge scrambling during the afternoon. Both activities where very enjoyable, but the Gorge scrambling was fantastic (if you don't mind getting wet).

Our instructors (Adam, Sam and Leon) where brilliant throughout; we felt safe, sufficiently challenged and had a cracking sense of humour.
