Fantastic Family Canoe Adventure! Brilliant instructor (special mention for Barney the dog also!!) - really patient, supportive and informative. We loved it and would highly recommend it!

What an amazing afternoon canoeing on the canal with Chris and his dog Barney. Chris is a great instructor - patient and friendly and the kids were soon canoeing as well as the parents. Lovely peaceful setting but he also introduced some fun and games as we went along so that the kids were suitably engaged. We also booked to do an abseil later that week with Chris. Thank you for such an enjoyable 5* experience.

Went caving with my 2 sons during the half term as something different. They both loved it and Chris was a great guide through the whole thing. I can’t recommend this enough.

We had a great experience with Chris. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable. The instructions he gave us ensured we had a safe and exciting time. It was very peaceful on the river and we saw a kingfisher and a couple of Herons. Highly recommend this trip and this company.

I booked this for my boyfriends birthday and we had such a fun time. We were the only group booked for the alotted time, meaning we had privite experience which was really nice. The instructor is friendly, and engaging - taking us through how to best navigate the river at each step and his furry friend was just adorable. The session was a perfect length. Although got a little wet from the rapids (definitely our fault) it made it all the more fun albeit a little cold. Would definitely do again.

Absolutely fab day out! We learnt so much about canoeing techniques and how to read the water. There were a few rapids to negotiate which provided some excitement but thanks to Chris’ excellent teaching the whole group navigated them with ease. A really great experience

Chris patiently taught my husband and myself how to paddle down a short stretch of rapids on the River Derwent - enough of a challenge to feel an adrenaline rush but still feel safe and not fear capsizing.
A lovely activity and a contrast to the walking and cycling that we had undertaken the rest of the week. Thank you

Had a brilliant morning abseiling off Millers Dale bridge. Chris was brilliant with my 6 year old daughter and he instantly put her at ease. After her first go she was racing up the steps each time for another turn.
She has rated it one million thousand out of 10! I'm sure we'll be back.

Brilliant afternoon with Chris and Barney. Patient instruction from Chris. Just the right amount of challenge with gentle interludes so Chris could prep us for the rapids and bridges.

A fantastic relaxing trip down the river. Chris and Barney lead the way with clear instructions for all eventualities. We had picked a beautiful sunny day and stayed dry too!
A mix of gentle water and more adventurous rapid bits kept us focused, but we still managed to spot a kingfisher that accompanied us for part of the trip.
Thoroughly recommend.

HI Becky,
If you Canoe has bouancy bags / blocks fitted then I’m happy if it’s water tight.
I would still be charging you the same though whether it’s your canoe or mine you use.
